CBDC's: The Enslavement of Humanity
The role of central banks in creating fiat money for centuries has been a convoluted and corrupt process, but now governments ar introducing a new technology intent on turning you into a digital serf.
The role of central banks in creating fiat money for centuries has been a convoluted and corrupt process, but now governments intend to introduce a new technology intent on turning you into a digital serf.
For millennia governments have controlled money issuance. Recent centuries have been no exception, with that control being relatively constant; central banks work with the government to control the money supply, creating money as needed. This increased money supply is inflation and results in higher prices as more dollars chase the same amount of goods - or less, as the current crisis proves. While you have to work hard to earn your money, central banks can ‘print’ it for the government at the press of a button. Politicians will then use this new money to accommodate those close to them and bribe voters to keep them in power and perpetuate the cycle.
Control of the money supply has always been the ultimate source of power throughout the world, regardless of the form of governance in place. The ability to distribute money always leads to vested interests currying favour to ensure they are allocated sufficiently to their needs and desires.
In a world already suffering at the hands of corrupt money, we now face a new danger. A threat that will see further control given to governments that supposedly represent us but in reality are used to control us and ensure the status quo remains in place. That we stay subservient serf cogs in the broader wheels of the system.
Not content with the already incredible power of money creation and distribution at the top level and influence-peddling throughout the value chain, governments and central banks are planning to extend their control capabilities to a most intimate level. They want to see and control how, where and with whom you spend every last cent of what you earn.
This new form of invasive, super-control will come from the innocent-sounding CBDC - Central Bank Digital Currency. It will and already is being trumpeted and sold to you as simply the same money we have now, just in digital form. Sounds harmless enough, right? Most of our money is already represented by numbers on a screen; what’s the big deal if they change the name?
This is what they want you to believe. But don’t be fooled - these CBDCs will be used to control every aspect of your life. After all, how much can you achieve without money? For better or worse, it’s half of almost every action we carry out in life to achieve an end; everything is denominated in money because barter doesn’t scale, on a personal level and especially on a national and global level.
These new CBDCs will be issued in place of your existing money on the screen. Except this new form of money will come with additional features enabling the government to look into everything you do with it, everywhere you spend it, and everyone you conduct trade with, from paying back your friend for last night’s dinner, purchasing a car, or relatively everyday purchases like buying flowers for your wife. You don’t need to take my word for it, they openly state their intentions:
“In cash, we don’t know who’s using a $100 bill today, we don’t know who’s using a 1,000 Peso bill today. A key difference with the CBDC, is the central bank will have absolute control on the rules and regulations that will determine the the use of that expression of central bank liability, and also we will have the technology to enforce that.” - Augustin Carsens, BIS General Manager, October 2020
There you have it, in one quick paragraph, the ultimate boss of central banks openly states a) the notes in your wallet aren’t money, simply a bank liability, b) they will regulate your use of it and c) enforce it if you go against what is dictated.
They will see everything you do with your money. Many argue they have nothing to hide. ‘I don’t mind if the government sees what I spend money on.’ But money isn’t just money; it represents our ability to make choices in life. That’s the luxury we have in the western world, where we are not under pressure or restricted by political dictates that may threaten us for spending money on the wrong thing. Though Canadians recently discovered what loss of monetary freedom feels like when they were retroactively investigated and even had their bank accounts frozen for donating to the trucker protests.
We see this also happening on much larger scales with entire national governments having their money seized such as the gold of Afghanistan or Venezuela, or the foreign reserves of Russia. Regardless of how you may feel about any of these particular governments, the point to take home is that if entire nations can have their money switched off - do you think your government will have the slightest hesitation in coming after yours?
Your privacy and sovereignty - financial or otherwise - is your privilege to divulge, not your duty to disclose. The more privacy and control you cede, the more they will continue to take.
These CBDCs will provide the government with the ability to see every dollar you spend and where. But the control will escalate. With complete vision into all your affairs, if they don’t like where you’re spending your money or with whom you’re dealing - they can stop you from accessing your funds. Regardless of your political persuasion, you will no longer have the option of supporting those deemed dissidents to the system, such as Alex Jones or Julian Assange.
If the government believes you haven’t paid enough taxes, they can deduct it from your account until you argue successfully that you paid a sufficient amount. If government officials or legislature is bribed lobbied by special interest groups to amend laws on what is acceptable, you may immediately become a dissident yourself.
Perhaps it will be more mundane and socially ‘good’ issues such as the imposition of a new climate tariff that will be instantly deducted. Or an initiative that deems for the sake of the environment, you shouldn’t travel more than two miles from your home, so your money will not work for any stores beyond that perimeter, and the engine in your car will die once it hits the border. There is no chance of paying for an Uber to take you past that limit either - the CBDCs will see all.
Perhaps you’ll lend support to someone vocally opposing the government? A rival political party or grassroots movement. Tsk tsk! They’ll switch your money off for that until you repent and agree to support the current regime.
When the economy needs to be stimulated, and they want you to spend your money, they no longer need to manipulate interest rates to have you spend your money. No more savings, sorry, your current balance will expire in three months. Perhaps CBDC should stand for Central Banks Destroying Capital?
The reasons given for their control will be endless and enable them to action any agenda change they wish with little choice for you to protest. After all, how long can someone effectively protest without food or shelter?
By now you should be starting to understand the tremendous amount of control that money has on your life and what someone else’s ability to switch yours off will mean. You will indeed become a new-age serf.
“In reality the abolition of serfdom and of slavery was only the abolition of an obsolete form of slavery that had become unnecessary, and the substitution for it of a firmer form of slavery and one that holds a greater number of people in bondage.” - Leo Tolstoy
As with all methods of control used on the populace, at first, they will be gentle with their rollout of CBDCs. Initially, it will all be voluntary, and your money will still be held with your existing bank. But at some point, this will all change. Most likely because of some deemed threat such as terrorism, child molesters or Russia.
At that point, the control will tighten. It will no longer be voluntary, and banks will be forced to ensure all their clients are moved onto the new form of controlled money. Then, once the banks have served their purpose, the government will phase them out also and provide you with an account linked directly to the central bank itself. A direct line between you and the ultimate bureaucracy.
Complete and total, unavoidable dystopian control.
If you openly dissent against their measures, your account will be disabled, and you will find it hard to function in daily life. If they deem fit to return it to you after appeal, they will significantly limit what items you can spend your money on. No more subscription to that ‘right wing’ blogger. No more purchasing of food that exceeds your quoted ration and certainly no purchasing of guns and ammunition.
This is an awesome amount of control, and you can almost see government officials salivating when they speak of their excellent new technology under development. You can also understand why central banks have been among the most vocal critics of Bitcoin to date. Bitcoin is digital money that allows you to escape this future. Money that will enable you to maintain your privacy and sovereignty. The exact opposite of CBDCs.
“(Bitcoin) is a highly speculative asset, which has conducted some funny business and some interesting and totally reprehensible money laundering activity.
There has to be regulation. This has to be applied and agreed upon ... at a global level because if there is an escape that escape will be used.”
— Christine Lagarde, Convicted Criminal President of the European Central Bank
In this statement, Lagarde even gives away the game - if there is an escape from their terrible, controlled surveillance system, people will take it. They want all possible exits to their system shut off.
Rollout of CBDCs in many of the larger countries is inevitable. What we have going in our favour is government ineptitude in carrying out social and financial planning and their need to be seen to move gently at first to avoid mass backlash.
How our future looks depends on us. Resistance and pushback are essential. So are your actions now to ensure you are not totally at the mercy of your government when the rollout occurs. Prepare yourself by increasing your awareness, knowledge and, most importantly - your options.
Look into where you allocate your money. Strategize where it will be safe from their clutches. Improve your privacy - it’s not a dirty word despite what they’d have you believe. Allocate some of your funds into money the government can’t control - sovereign money like Bitcoin or gold. The important thing is to do something, not just stand by and watch as it happens as the majority of the sheeple will.
The power to stop this type of dystopian control scenario of the future doesn’t require a majority but a vocal minority. For centuries, vocal critics have foretold inevitable tyranny, yet they are seldom listened to until it’s too late.
Don’t allow yourself and those close to you to become digital serfs in a new panopticon of global control. Now is the time to be aware of what they intend for you. Now is the time to say ‘no.’
