Another Bitcoin ban fails.
Will copper production increase, or will expectations be managed downward?

Bitcoin
Nigeria lifts its ban on Bitcoin.
The Central Bank of Nigeria has lifted its ban on cryptocurrency transactions, acknowledging the global trend towards regulating digital assets, according to a recent Reuters report. This move marks a departure from the bank’s February 2021 decision, which prohibited banks and financial institutions from engaging in crypto-related activities due to concerns over money laundering and terrorism financing.
More governments are realizing ‘banning’ Bitcoin is a futile exercise.
Copper
Putting the fairy tale of net-zero (which requires LOTS of copper) into perspective.
Even with ramping up of copper mining, it can’t and won’t happen. Expectations will be managed, agreements will be massaged, timelines will be extended and governments will back out of idiotic promises they’ve made.
Meat
Around the world governments and activist groups have been trying to convince the public meat is bad for you and now also the climate, so we should all eat less of it for our health and to save the planet. Stuff like this:
Instead they want you filling yourself with artificial alternatives laced with chemicals like Beyond Meat burgers, effectively a massive serving of canola oil and pea protein:
Hong Kongers aren’t falling for the spiel that meat is bad for their health or the climate, and to be fair, their government isn’t trying to brainwash them into thinking it is.
In fact it seems they can’t get enough, with Hong Kong now consuming more meat per capita than any other country in the world:
Seems they may be onto something. Hong Kong now has the highest life expectancy in the world, and Macao with it’s third place in meat consumption is also second on the life expectancy stats:
While correlation does not equal causation, it’s something to think about next time the vegan at the table is trying to convert you because it’s just so much hEalTHier for you to not eat meat.
